LAOAG CITY (Nov. 7) – Provincial Administrator Atty. Windell Chua said formal complaint is being readied against Dr. Baldomino ‘Bong’ Tapia for alleged negligence as doctor-on-duty at the GRASM Hospital here.
Chua said however that prior to the filing, Dr. Tapia, the respondent, was asked to present his side or submit his written version on the incident thru PGIN’s Human Resources Department. It will be forwarded to the grievance committee for evaluation.
The case arose from a GRASMH patient’s relative who alleged that no doctor was available to treat their patient when he was rushed to the hospital.
Record showed that Dr. Tapia was the alleged doctor-on-duty at that time. (edg)
