LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte (9 September) – The Department of Science & Technology will hold a North Luzon-wide Invention Contest and Exhibition in Ilocos Norte. The activity will feature various inventions from Regions 1, 2 and the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
Aside from the exhibition, there will be a seminar on Intellectual Property.
The event aims to improve the country’s global competitiveness and capability to innovate, invent; and to accelerate the production of high-level human resources needed for S&T activities particularly in the area of Research & Development.
Students, the academe, scientists, researchers will be gracing the event which will run from 14-16 September 2010 at the Event Center, Robinson’s Mall, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte. (Carlo P. Canares)
