PINILI, Ilocos Norte, Jan. 8–The Laoag diocese thanked the police for the arrest of three suspects in the slay of the late Father Florante Rigonan. Two other suspects remain at large. Fr. Engelbert Elarmo officiated a mass near the grave of Fr. Rigonan at the cemetery. Baloons were flown in the sky to mark the progress of the case. Fr. Rigonan was murdered here on Aug. 28, 2008.
