SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte – Rescuers failed to save the life of 38-year -old Randy Villa who was buried alive while digging a deep well in Brgy. 24, this town on April 23, Saturday.
Report said Villa had dug about 20 feet below when the loose soil around the well suddenly caved in burying him alive.
FO3 Lewelyn Ulit said it took them 3 hours to lift the victim out since the well hole was narrow.
Villa was declared dead on arrival at the hospital by government doctors. (tsg)
