SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte (Oct. 26) – A suspected carnapper with a standing arrest warrant, was apprehended by PNP-CIDG operatives.
Insp. Melchor Piso, head of PNP-CIDG in the province, said the suspect from Brgy. Bugnay, this town was nabbed inside his house. He did not resist arrest.
Piso said that the arrest warrant was issued by Judge Isidoro Pobre of RTC Branch 18 in Batac City. The suspect was allegedly involved in carnapping activities in the province.
The court recommended P180,000 bail for the suspect’s temporary liberty. (Theo S. Guiang)
