SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte (Jan. 11) – Businessman Joy Manalo woke up early dawn to prepare for a breakfast when he noticed an intruder dashing out from his house. He tried to chase him but he disappeared under the cover of darkness.
Sensing burglary, he checked his personal belongings and found some were missing such as laptop computer, two cellphones, belt bag containing cash and other valuables.
Initial investigation showed that the robber forcibly entered the victim’s house by destroying the sliding window in the comfort room. (Theo S. Guiang)
