MARCOS, Ilocos Norte, Oct. 23–Gunmen riding in tandem struck anew killing a businessman along the provincial road at the border of Brgys. Valdez and Pacifico, this town, lawmen said.
Police Chief Arnel Cabaog said the victim, Jerson Bumanglag, 34, married, of Brgy. Escoda, this town, was driving his Isuzo Elf truck when the gunmen, armed with cal. 45 pistol, attacked him. His wife who was seated beside him emerged unhurt.
Jerson was engaged in the buy-and sell of palay.(tsg/bbr)
