CURRIMAO, Ilocos Norte, July 21–Barangay Captain Rodel Pacnis was watching a night TV show at his house in Brgy. Victoria here when a gunman barged inside and fired at him. When the assassin’s bullet missed him as the target, Pacnis jumped into the window and hid under the cover of darkness, his wife Aira said. Police were investigating the incident to pinpoint who the would-be killer was.(jg/al)
