Batac City College not a priority for Mayor Nalupta

The measure which was earlier approved by the city council was sponsored by Vice Mayor Ronald Allan Nalupta.

Mayor Nalupta said that the proposed city college needs further review since the city already hosts Mariano Marcos State University, which caters to all kinds of students.

He said that the creation of a city college may only duplicate the objective of MMSU, adding the city will have to be burdened since it would be needing to take out loan amounting to P300 million for the realization of the proposed city college.
