BACARRA, Ilocos Norte, Feb. 18–Videoke bar manager Efren Ian Cid, 37, of Brgy. Corocor, this town survived a slay try in 2010.
But at early dawn today, assassins waylaid him at Brgy. San Vicente here, police chief Jephre Taccad reported.
The victim was driving his motorcycle with two women companions aboard the sidecar when the gunmen riding in tandem fired at him.
Hit in the back and left thigh, he was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
