Airport manager’s house robbed

LAOAG CITY – Robbers carted away almost P50,000 worth of gadgets and jewelry and P20,000 cash from the house of Laoag International Airport General Manager Ronald Estavillo in Brgy. Cavit, this city.

He said that the robbers allegedly used a long wooden stick to steal the valuables, which were placed on top of a cabinet, about 4 meters away from their window.

Brgy. Chairman Wilson Alonzo reported that there were already four previous cases of robbery in said barangay in the month of October alone.

He theorized that these robbery cases in their barangay were committed by same group since their modus was the same. (tsg)
