LAOAG CITY, Dec. 2 – At least three houses were totally burned while another was partially damaged in a fire that occurred at Brgy. 48-B Cabungaan, this city yesterday.
S/Insp. Bonifacio Sacatrapos of the Bureau of Fire Protection-Laoag identified the owners of these houses as Paulina Gaoiran, Rosalina Saludares, Rolando Saludares and Raymond Agnir.
He added that the fire spread rapidly in the neighborhood as the houses were made of light materials and fanned by strong wind.
Investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the blaze. (Theo Guiang)
