2 cops sacked due to fistfight–PD

PAOAY, Ilocos Norte, March 14–OIC Police Provincial Director S/S Sterling Blanco relieved two rookie policemen, PO1 Louie Ventura and PO1 Fredimar Sacramento for engaging in alleged fistfight during a checkpoint operation in this town. PD Blanco said he reassigned Ventura to PNP station in Adams and Sacramento to PNP station in Carasi. The places are both upland towns. Initial investigation showed that the two had fistfight over alleged minor misunderstanding. Fellow policemen intervened and pacified them from further trouble.(tsg w/ bbr report)
