SARRAT, Ilocos Norte – 50-year-old Samuel Ganir died in an stabbing incident in Brgy. 24, San Roque, of this town.
Police identified the suspect as barangay kagawad Norbert Calaro, 42. He stabbed the victim in the belly.
Police confirmed that the suspect is a trouble maker in their barangay as shown in their police records.
The victim’s wife and daughter, who witnessed the whole incident, said that the victim was only trying to pacify the unruly suspect.
