MARCOS, Ilocos Norte (Nov. 30)– A mayoral candidate of this town was arrested and jailed at INPJ. Early this morning, police operatives raided and searched his house. Found and seized by the lawmen were gun, ammunition and assorted paraphernalia in making explosives. He is a retired police officer and current barangay chairman here. He had schooling in bomb and disposal tactics when he was in active police service.
