Lawyer Mariano “Anno” Nalupta Jr, Ex-solon dies at 69

naluptaAtty. Mariano Rosario Nalupta, Jr., former Ilocos Norte congressman, vice governor, provincial board member and president of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Ilocos Norte-Laoag City chapter, has passed away on Sept. 2, 2014 at Philippine Heart Center at the age of 69.

He was first confined at the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital in Batac City before he was airlifted to Manila.

He is survived by wife Ma. Elena K. Marders-Nalupta, (former Batac mayor and former provincial board member); incumbent Batac Vice Mayor Ronald Allan, Judge Myra Sheila, Brgy. Capt. Mariano Francisco III and Atty. Richard Alvin.

Judge Myra said the Nalupta family requests relatives, friends and supporters that instead of flowers, their donation may be channeled to the Salun-at Foundation of MMMH, Batac City which will set up a fund for a heart, lung and kidney center in memory of their father, Atty. Mariano Nalupta, Jr.(jrg/al/jg)
