Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative HON. RODOLFO C. FARIÑAS together with his family visited Laoag City Jail to personally forgive one of the residents of the jail who allegedly stole money from the Fariñas household. Beth, a former nanny to the granddaughters of Congressman Fariñas, cried and immediately asked for forgiveness upon seeing the latter. In front of all the residents and personnel of the jail, the lawmaker said that he will no longer pursue the case against her and will ask his lawyer to file the necessary motion in court for the immediate release of the accused.
