DTI Ilocos Norte launched the 1st OTOP Phils. Hub in Region 1 at the Departure Area of the Laoag International Airport (LIA) on January 14, 2019. Leading the ceremonial ribbon-cutting are DTI ROG Asec Demphna Du-Naga, DTI-RO1 Regional Director Florante O. Leal, Vice Governor Angelo Barba, CAAP Area Manager Ronald Estabillo, LIA Manager Rosito Tamayo and PSMEDC Chair Ricardo Tolentino. The OTOP Phils. Hub is another flagship market access program of the DTI. It serves as a marketing vehicle and incubation platform to promote champion OTOP products.
