The City Government of Batac through the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office and the City Health Office, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection joins the nationwide conduct of the earthquake drill. The simultaneous drill was held at the Mariano Marcos State University – College of Engineering and was participated in by the faculty and students of the said college. The Batac City Police Station provided security within the drill area.The activity is in line with the ongoing efforts of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) to educate the public on what to do in case a major tremor hits the country.
