BOODLE FIGHT. The Ilocos Sentinel weekly newspaper staff joined the BRGY. 25 STA. CAYETANA officials headed by Brgy. Captain William Cayetano during the longest Boodle Fight held along the main thoroughfares in Laoag City on Feb. 27, 2015. Barangay 25 “boodle fighters” occupied a portion of Vintar Road. The 4.5-kilometer-plus Laoag boodle fight was documented by the Guinness Book of World Record. It broke the present record of Camarines Norte’s 2.3-kilometer boodle fight in the Guinness.
