LAOAG CITY, Jan. 5– Police tagged Davee (not his real name) as leader of boys’ group allegedly engaged in a drug trade but he quickly denied it after he was arrested during a buy-bust operation here.
When interviewed by reporters at his detention cell, the suspect, 16, disowned the illegal drug seized from him and he even accused the cops of hurting him during his arrest.
A ranking Laoag police officer contradicted the suspect’s allegation saying that was the common alibi of any drug pushers whenever they were arrested.
A medical record during his arrest would prove that we did not hurt him noting that the suspect was lying, the police officer said.(tri-media report)
