DINGRAS, Ilocos Norte, May 1–Jay-em Duldulao, 29, and Joven Javier, 34, both working beauticians, were killed when the motorcycle they rode in allegedly rammed a roadside Eucalyptus tree at Brgy. Peralta, this town, the PNP municipal station here said.
Duldulao, the driver, of Brgy. Manayon, Sarrat town, and Javier, the back rider, a native of Sta. Ana, Cagayan, were both declared dead on arrival by the attending doctor at the Dingras district hospital.
Capt. Joseph Calderon, town police chief, said the victims after their work apparently had a drinking bout in Laoag City.
The driver probably became sleepy while on the road and later lost control of the motorbike leading to the crash, investigators said. (tri-media report)
