“Agserbi 24/7” of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte receives seedlings from DENR 1

The CENR Office of Laoag City shared 100 mahogany seedlings in support to the “Agserbi 24/7, Walang Iwanan” project of the City Government of Laoag done at Barangay 56-B Bacsil South of Laoag City.

CENRO-Laoag led by DMO IV Rosalia S. Pungtilanon behalf of the OIC-CENR Officer Noemi A. Ruadap together with CDS Chief Forester Joseph Lewylyn Acang and LPDS In-Charge Oliva T. Abitong joined in distributing 100 mahogany seedlings with the City Officials in support to the Clean and Green project of the City Government as a means to preserve our environment and as a reminder to the community that they too must contribute in re-growing our forests at the same time contribute to efforts of combating climate change.

Also representatives of CENR Office of Laoag were there to disseminate DENR’s Programs and Projects specially on “Land-Titling” and other Environmental activities like the “ Adopt-an-Estero”, “Estero Clean –Up” among others.

The Agserbi 24/7 is a project of the City Government of Laoag conceptualized to boost a community-based productive local governance to the eighty(80) barangays of Laoag City.

The project also aims to pool the resources of all services of its organic departments, line agencies, other government agencies and non-government organizations and bring them as one to the barangays for easiest, fastest service delivery. (CENRO-Laoag City)
