Police eye love triangle in ex-OFW gun slaying

BADOC, Ilocos Norte, April 30–Police focused their investigation on a love triangle angle as the possible motive on the violent death of a former overseas Filipino worker here.

Capt. Joseph Tayaban, town police chief, reported that Presnel Aganon, 36, married, and ex-OFW was gunned down in front of his house at Brgy. Mabusag Norte, this town last night.

The victim had just arrived home from the barangay fiesta venue when two motorcyclists riding in tandem fired at him.

A SOCO team found four empty shells of bullets for caliber .45 pistol at the crime scene.

The victim’s mother Soledad told reporters that her son allegedly recognized his assailants but he failed to give names when he spoke to her during his dying moment.

Initial police investigation showed that the victim allegedly had several girlfriends noting love triangle might be the cause of the slaying. (tri-media report)
