LAOAG CITY, Aug. 14–J-boy Mateo, 22, of Brgy. Bacsil South, this city was shot and wounded in the thigh last night, lawmen said.
Investigators said the suspect who allegedly shot the victim is a retired Philippine army soldier. He was arrested later after the incident.
A report said the suspect apparently got irritated by the alleged noisy muffler of the latter’s motorcycle that passed by the area.
The victim claimed he drove slowly and created no loud noise contrary to the suspect’s allegation.(Tri-media report)
